NBA Summer League game coverage, 2025. An excerpt from Pan Visuals’ court footage.
Official coverage with a broad production brief
Pan Visuals provided official event content for NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, covering games, activations, VIP moments, partner events, and festival programming. Pan Visuals led the video content operation from planning and crew coordination through rapid-turn editing and delivery.
The work included documentary-style highlights, social content, behind-the-scenes mini features, and longer recaps for partners and internal use. The brief called for a consistent account of Summer League across the basketball action and the events surrounding it.
Coordinating coverage across a live program
Games are one part of a much wider Summer League schedule. Activations, interviews, partner gatherings, and festival programming create additional coverage priorities, often within the same day. Leading the video operation means connecting those priorities with crew assignments and the needs of the edit.
Planning and delivery are therefore part of the same process. The coverage has to serve the immediate social schedule while also providing the material needed for longer recaps and features. Keeping both uses in view helps the production move from an unfolding event to finished content.

Recording the game and the people within it
The court footage places viewers close to the pace and physical detail of the game. Wider framing follows the play, while closer angles record individual performances, reactions, and moments around the bench. The 2025 selections shown here demonstrate that range within the game coverage.
Documentary-style highlights and behind-the-scenes mini features extend the story around the action. Alongside the plays themselves, they make room for the people, conversations, and atmosphere that give Summer League its character.

Producing for social, partners, and the wider event
The content serves several uses across Summer League. Short social clips make individual moments ready to share, while longer recaps bring games, activations, and guest appearances into a broader account of the event. Partner and internal edits give those audiences material suited to their own needs.
Rapid-turn editing is central to that service. The production continues through selection, editing, and delivery so the coverage remains useful while Summer League is taking place, with a longer record available after the event.

Giving sports stories a place beyond the court
Pan Visuals also helps develop the Summer League Film Festival as a public platform for filmmakers to present athletic stories during NBA Summer League. It brings filmmaking into the same Las Vegas gathering as the athletes, industry guests, and audiences attending the games.
This work shares a purpose with the event coverage: bringing audiences closer to sports through people and their stories. The festival creates space for longer films and conversations, alongside the highlights, social clips, and mini features produced around the live program.

A content operation that carries through to delivery
Pan Visuals’ work connects production leadership with the finished content. Across the 2025 and 2026 coverage, the deliverables include social clips, documentary-style highlights, behind-the-scenes features, and longer partner and internal recaps, giving Summer League a record of the games and the wider experience around them.
